🎸 Beginner Workshop 🎸
Ready to dive into the world of guitar? In this beginner-friendly series, you'll learn how to play famous four-chord songs that sound great and build confidence. Over six weeks, we’ll guide you through all the essentials, from basic chord shapes to techniques that help you feel confident playing on your own and with others.
Each week, we’ll cover:
🎵 Major & Minor "Cowboy" Chords: Get comfortable with the most-used open chords, like G, C, D, and Em, known as "cowboy chords" for their simplicity and popularity in countless songs. These are the classic shapes that let you play hit songs without having to move up and down the neck!
🎵 Strumming Patterns: Find your rhythm and learn patterns that bring songs to life.
🎵 Using a Capo: See how this handy tool lets you change the key of a song and makes many songs easier to play.
🎵 Tuning Tips: Keep your guitar sounding great by learning to tune with a tuner and by ear.
🎵 Playing Together: Develop timing and teamwork as you learn to play in sync with others.
Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or coming back to basics, this workshop is a fun, relaxed way to start playing real songs from day one!
