What we’re about
Calgary Tech Hikes is a group for folks working in tech in Calgary to get out hiking in the mountains together. Software developers, hardware engineers, product and business people, and startup founders.
Whether you're working in a startup or a large company, whether you're in a technical or business role, if you're working in tech then this is a great way to meet other like-minded folks in Calgary and the surrounding area.
Currently we're aiming for moderately challenging hikes, i.e. mostly mountain hikes where you can walk but involving some elevation (and a nice view). Occasionally the hikes might include some easy and safe "scrambles" towards the top, with an option to skip that part and wait for the group to return. But please share your feedback about what you're looking for so we can adjust and if we get enough people coming out we can do multiple hikes with different levels.
