Name: Fish Creek Provincial Park walk from Shannon Terrace to Bebo Ponds

This is one of my favorite walks in all seasons, it is mostly tree covered and protected from the wind as the path is down in the valley. In the winter it is peaceful and serene but wearing good spikes is recommended.

We will walk from the Shannon Terrace parking lot East to Bebo Ponds primarily on the paved path, although we could meander through some dirt paths along Fish Creek if not too icy or busy and the group agrees. This is an easy walk with minimal elevation gain and about 5km. We will take our time and stay together as a group.

**What to bring:**
Clothing as forecast dictates, (you will need layers, gloves, cap), bottled water, walking shoes or hiking boots, spikes (if icy or snow packed), poles (optional) are a great idea when it is icy.
