  1. Joint modelling of repeated measurements and time-to-event data.
    Two examples will illustrate an individualized prediction regarding patient prognosis using health state progress over time.
  2. How to build a simple physical simulation through Shiny apps.
    We will walk through mathematical modelling, problem decomposition, writing the smallest possible functions, unit testing, writing a driver script, making physical sense of the trends, then writing a Shiny app and deploying it to the cloud.
