Hello women of Calgary! Welcome to my exciting meetup! I welcome all women of any age, especially if you're new to the city, please join! I want us all to make new friends and have a blast!
The idea for this meetup is to get together and do something different every time! I'm so sick of just doing the same old thing like going to the bar....Boring! I want to do that and more! I want to try anything that's fun and new and I want you all to join me .
Some ideas I have are, dance classes (hip hop etc), hot yoga, downtown hikes, makeup parties, book club, wine and cheese nights, dinner dates, movies, clothing swaps...just to name a few! I'm open to suggestions as well, so please message me your ideas 😊
I also have a group policy about attendance. For any event that you rsvp for, you MUST update it with a "NO", if you know you can't make it, within 24 hours of the date. If you don't do this nor do you show up, I will mark it as a "no show". It is unfair for the girls who want to come but can't because an event is full, but they could have come if girls would have updated their rsvp. Also not fair if there is a cost involved. I want everyone to have the opportunity to come out and enjoy themselves, so please, have the courtesy and update your rsvp as soon as you can! I would appreciate this so much! I also HIGHLY recommend getting the Meetup app for your phone! This will keep you updated on anything to do with events, like changes or cancellations. This also helps if you are on the waitlist and get off it!
