**Boston Living Soulfully** is a community of men who love men that is enriched by our connections to one another and to Easton Mountain. We co-create monthly gatherings of fun, safe, social and spirited events that foster self exploration and brotherhood. Our vision is to support the lives of men who love men so we can then, collectively, become a more positive force for change in the world.

**Monthly Gatherings and Calendar**
We gather on the First Sunday from 6-8 p.m. from October to June each year to share with each other our stories, struggles and triumphs. We have a monthly program that will have a social, spiritual, or community focus.

**Day Without Art/World AIDS Day Installation 2024**

You are invited to **ARRIVE any time before 6:00 PM** to experience the Medicine Wheel’s ritual marking of the hour.
**GATHER AT 6:15 PM** in the space to the right of the entrance (facing the entrance from the center of the Medicine Wheel). Look for signs.

**OUR PROGRAM:**
Join Boston Living Soulfully for our field trip on December 1, World AIDS Day, where we will experience the Medicine Wheel at the Cyclorama.

The Medicine Wheel is an epic work of art created by Michael Dowling, Artistic Director of Medicine Wheel Productions. Produced each year since 1992 in conjunction with World AIDS Day/A Day With(Out) Art, “Medicine Wheel” is a 24-hour vigil from midnight to midnight on Dec 1. It features a major sculptural art installation rooted in the Celtic Medicine Wheel and the universal use of the circle to heal, reflect and remember. People from every walk of life come to Medicine Wheel to commemorate the tragedy of the AIDS epidemic, or any loss, in their own communities and worldwide. Each hour is marked by poetry, prayer, ritual or mediation. Sections of the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt will be displayed.

Last month, members of Boston Living Soulfully helped create 25-foot-long red ribbons that form the centerpiece of the installation.

We will gather at 6:15 pm for our usual introductions and announcements. We will then immerse ourselves in the Medicine Wheel, exploring it in small groups or on our own. At 7:15 pm, we will gather again and talk with Michael Dowling, the artist. After our group time, stay on as long as you wish.

**OUR PRESENTER: Michael Dowling**
Michael is known as one of the Commonwealth’s most innovative and courageous artists who produces visually stunning, ambitious public works of art that serve and inspire communities on many levels. His work stems from his heartfelt desire to beautify and make life better for all. Michael holds a BFA and MFA from Boston University, where he studied with Philip Guston and James Weeks.
