Canary wharf London photo walk

Starting at Starbucks at one Canada square we will walk a short distance to one Canada square building , circumnavigating around that building provides some great photography opportunities, from there we will walk to Adam’s plaza bridge which provides some great led lighting depending on the day. After going through the bridge we will arrive at the big easy building which using a wide angle can create some stunning images depending on the day.

A short walk to west India quay DLR we travel to Cutty Sark maritime Greenwich on the DLR and head to the bottom of park row ( a road running parralel to the royal school of navel architecture ) for great panoramic view of London skyline including many iconic buildings

We will then break for food and drinks and a chance to share a photo talk socilise and network while we wait for sunset which at this time of the day is around 19:30

Now we will work our way back following the same route ending at Starbucks to give us a different perspective of the shot location we visited during sunlight hours.

This will be a long day with some walking so please bring suitable shoes and water

Equipment

A digital camera or phone to take photos , any low light ability would be beneficial

Wide angle & portrait capable lenses

A tripod or some way to stabilize shots as we get into low light

Equipment not needed but usefull

An ND filter - during this event we will look at long exposure during the day , this is only possible with using an ND filter , if you are buying one for this event please check your thread size for lens you plan to use.
