Camel City Gamers – Making Moves Since 2008!

Join the Camel City Gamers and play modern hobby board and cards games with other adult tabletop gaming enthusiasts in the Winston-Salem area! Gamers between the ages of 14 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tabletop gaming is a great alternative to digital entertainment, in which you’ll be able to enjoy some positive face-to-face interactions.  You can unplug, unwind, and enjoy the company of others all while having fun playing some amazing games.

The types of board and card games we play might be quite different from the games you played with your family and friends growing up.  The wonderful world of hobby board gaming has been growing quietly in the USA for the last 20+ years, but has experienced a recent boom in widespread popularity (not to mention all of the new games released each year).  If you would like to learn more about the types of games we play, feel free to visit: https://boardgamegeek.com/

To clarify, we DO NOT play classic / mass-market / party games such as: Backgammon, Bridge, Candyland, Cards Against Humanity, Checkers, Chess, Clue, Connect Four, Hearts, Jenga, Life, Monopoly, Operation, Risk, Scrabble, Sorry, Spades, Taboo, Trivial Pursuit, Trouble, Uno, Yahtzee, etc.

The Camel City Gamers organize game nights every Tuesday, every other Thursday, as well as one or two Saturdays every month.  We typically meet up at venues in Winston-Salem, but have also used libraries and churches throughout Forsyth County.  Details for each events are published to members through our MeetUp page.
