We will be visiting Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation Center for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or hiking, as well as tubing, sledding, and ice skating!

Founded in 1978, Lapland Lake features unparalleled woodland skiing on a superb trail system designed by Olavi Hirvonen, former U.S. Olympic skier (1960, Squaw Valley). Lapland Lake is located in the very southern tier of Hamilton County, only 60 miles northwest of Albany.

We will be staying at a comfortable Airbnb in the nearby town of Northville. Located on the Sacandaga River, it is a 5 minute drive to the Lapland Lake Center.
We may have a campfire in the evenings at the house. Well behaved dogs are welcome with the permission of the host.

For the holiday weekend, [Lapland Lake recommends purchasing your day pass in advance.](https://www.laplandlake.com/rates-rentals/) The pass covers all activities at the facility. Rentals can be paid for in advance or on site the day of. Day pass - $28, Ski package - $25, Snowshoe package - $15, Snow tube - $10.

Start and end times reflect house check-in and check-out times. Check-in starts at 3:00 pm on Friday, check-out is 12:00 pm Monday. When you RSVP, you are paying for the 3-day weekend. The payment of $150 is for one bed or air mattress in the house, for 3 nights. During the weekend, we may also split the cost of some activities, if possible.

We offer a refund only if we have enough people to cover our expenses, or can replace you to maintain the same attendance. Refunds are offered on a first come, first served basis, and only after the trip has ended.
