Join us for a short, easy walk followed by some light refreshments and a chance to socialise before the silly season starts.

This is a well-known bird watcher's trail that is an easy 2.5km loop around the summit of Black Mountain with some spectacular views over the city. The more adventurous may also want to do a little side dash to the top of the hill from the back side then try to catch up to us again.

We will be leaving from the Forest Loop carpark about halfway up the mountain.

Upon completion back at the carpark, everyone is invited to stay and have a chat with other members and share some light refreshments that will be provided on the day.

**Even though this walk is mostly under tree cover please remember to bring some sun protection and water.**
