Hike top of Cedar Rock

We will start at the fish hatchery off US 276 near Brevard and hike up to Cat gap then a short hike on the Art Loeb trail to the manway to the top of Cedar Rock Mountain. We will take in the views and eat lunch and then hike off the back of the mountain to the the Art Loeb to Butter Gap, down the Butter gap trail and loop back to the fish hatchery. This hike clocks in around 9 miles and the hike up to the top of Cedar Rock is strenuous. Please bring a lunch,snacks and water. You should be prepared for inclement weather. We will stop on the way home for food and drink.
