The holidays are upon us, and it’s time for our annual Christmas party! Join us for lots of festive fun on December 7 from 11-2 at Milton’s Pizza and Pasta on Six Forks Road. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

**Note:** The leadership team would like to thank everyone who has consistently attended our activities this year! We exist for you, and we love that so many people are attending! We’d also like to encourage members who have been around a while and have learned valuable skills to consider leading a discussion or presenting a topic in 2025. We have many new members joining us, and they are looking to all of us to help equip them with knowledge, techniques, and tips. If you would like to present a topic or lead a discussion, let one of the leadership team know!

Here’s what’s in store for the Christmas party!

**Dirty Santa Gift Swap**: For some festive fun and friendly competition, we’ll have a Dirty Santa gift swap. If you’d like to participate in the swap, bring a wrapped gift (valued between $20-$25) -it must be prepper-related; no gag gifts.

Rules for the swap:

* *Everyone draws a number from a box. People take turns choosing a gift based on the number they draw.*
* *The person who draws number 1 starts the game by choosing a gift from the gift table. That person then unwraps the gift so everyone can see it.*
* *The person who draws 2 can either choose a gift from the gift table or steal the gift that #1 chose.*
* *The game continues in this manner until the person with the last number either chooses the last gift or steals a gift.*
* *The person who has #1 now has a chance either to keep the gift he or she has or to steal a gift. Because that person was first in the game, he or she doesn’t have an opportunity in the beginning to steal. So, this is that person’s chance to do that. If that person chooses to steal a gift, the person they steal from receives the original gift that the #1 person has.*

If you do not want to participate in the gift swap, that is fine as well! Please come and join in all the fun and festivities! We’ll also be giving away some special door prizes throughout the meeting.

***Conflicted* Game:** Once again, Pistol Pete will host a game of *Conflicted*, a survival card game that lets you explore your own survival philosophy and that of others. This activity is perfect for sparking conversation and deepening connections! Here’s how the game works:

1. *The host selects and reads a scenario card aloud to the group. Each card presents a challenging, thought-provoking survival scenario or moral dilemma.*
2. *The host will call on various members to share their responses and thoughts.*
3. *Participants are encouraged to explain their decisions and discuss different perspectives openly.*

The aim of the game is to engage in meaningful conversation, showcase different viewpoints, and gain insights into each other's decision-making processes.

* We’ll also have ample time to network and for people to share their suggestions for what they want to see as far as activities for 2025.
