**Do you have a bug out bag; is it packed with the essentials; do you know how it feels to hike with it for a few miles?**

Join me 9am Saturday 12/14 for a trail hike at Umstead; we'll maintain a pace of 2-3mph so folks can enjoy some conversation. Packs are encouraged but not required; it'll let you identify whether any strap adjustments or weight balancing is needed to make it carry comfortably. We'll take as many water breaks as needed and stop for a snack break at the halfway point. We'll utilize the Company Mill Trail (6-mile loop, 2.5hrs to complete).

**RSVPs are required to attend.** Meeting Point is Harrison Ave entrance. Meet at the informational sign near the restrooms on the left side of the parking lot. Please note that this is the Cary side of the park. If you enter from Glenwood/Hwy 70, that is the wrong side. Allow enough time to get parking - this could be a challenge on Saturday Mornings.
