Women's A Cappella Singing Group

Founded in Carpinteria, CA in 2011 under the direction of Mary Ashford, the Carpe Diem Chorus has won several regional and international competitions, outscoring choruses more than double their size, including groups from all around the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

With a new focus on local community performances, Carpe Diem now rehearses in the Carpinteria Community Church on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. We'd love to welcome new women and other marginalized singers to our risers!
