We will walk about 4 miles in total on the Swamp Forest Trail at Lum's Pond State Park. This will be an out and back walk---2 miles out and 2 miles back. The trail, which is packed dirt, should be fairly dry unless it rains a lot over the next week. There is a slight chance of light snow Wednesday night, but the weather should be okay at 1:00 on Thursday.

**Directions:** From DE 896, go east on Howell School Road. After about 1/2 mile, turn right into the park.

**Parking:** Meet at Parking Area 5 (Nature Center), which is the first lot on the **left** after you pass the fee booth. There are no parking fees in effect at this time of year.

Leashed dogs are welcome.
