Grinch-Paws-on-Parade in the Fabulous 40s!

Grinch-Paws-on-Parade is back! You and your Cavalier are invited to a pre-party and festive stroll through the famous Fab 40s neighborhood!

The French family is graciously opening their beautiful East Sacramento home - just steps from the Fab 40s – for us to gather and socialize before heading out.

The party begins promptly at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8. We will meet in their yard from 4 to 5ish p.m. for light bites and pup playtime before heading out on our stroll.

ANOTHER CHANGE!!!..... my intention was to make it easier for everyone by providing food. Instead it's just been a lot of work dealing with Meetups payment system. SOOO..... back to Please bring an appetizer/dessert/beverage to share. Keep it simple please! Nothing that has to be heated, plugged in or plated by the hosts!! (i.e. come prepared). If you would like adult beverages, please feel free to bring your own. (if you have already paid I will bring something on your behalf!)Instead of everyone bringing food this year,

Attire is holiday festive – for people and pups!! Let’s see those Cavalier Christmas coats and sweaters!

The French home is located at 1340 38th Street (between Folsom and M Streets). Please enter through the side gate (on the left side of the home) and be mindful not to let any Cavaliers out as you enter (and close the crate fencing behind you!) - this will be the off-leash portion of the evening!

Parking: PLEASE make sure not to block any driveways in the neighborhood. Best parking is towards 37th away from the 40s where the majority of the lights are.

This area gets very busy during the holiday season, so please allow extra time to get there!

Dress warmly as it’s usually chilly and I highly suggest using a stroller or wagon for your pup if there has been any recent rain as it gets a little muddy. Don’t wear nice shoes if you don’t want to get them ruined! Flashlights are not a bad idea either!

The yard does have a swimming pool (which will be lit up); however if you have any concerns about your pup around water, please keep them on their leash.
