Canberra Social Riders Motorcycle Meetup Group is a group organising Rides and Social Events around Canberra for anyone who loves motorcycles.
Our group is open to everyone and suitable for all ages and skill levels. From L-platers on up. We aim to cover all bases - Day rides for a couple of hours or all day, Weekend Rides, Beginner rides, Dirt rides and with a few social events thrown into the mix.
Our roles as organiser is to schedule rides when we have time and we will often be searching for input with regard to ride suggestions. It is fitting to note that as organiser, it doesn't automatically mean that we will be the host, as like many other people, we work full time and may have family commitments, so it will be difficult to squeeze in a ride at times and also juggle other activities.
Therefore if you have a ride you would like to do and would love company, please don't be shy in contacting one of the organisers and allowing them to schedule something for other members to enjoy also. There is nothing better in our opinion than having a ride and enjoying it with others so please hit one of us up.
From time to time, we will also be posting rides that are un-hosted with the purpose being that if members are just looking for a Saturday or Sunday activity, then there is at least an option to Meetup with others in the same position.
Can we suggest that if you are interested in a ride then RSVP 'yes' only so as others can see that interest is being generated. If at the last minute something comes up for you, please be courteous enough to advise others of your change of plans but please do not do a 'no show' i.e. RSVP 'yes' but simply not turn up.
It doesn't matter whereabouts in Canberra you live, if you can make it to the designated location for the starting time, you are most welcome to join. It is unlikely that rides will be held if it's raining as we want to make it as safe and enjoyable as possible for all involved. Suggestions for half and full day rides are most welcome - message one of the organisers and let us know your suggestion.

•No liability or responsibility will be assumed in any way by ride and event organiser/s for the consequences of your conduct or the conduct of any other person;
•You expressly indemnify ride and event organisers and anyone associated with ride and event organisers against any claim (including a claim based in negligence) that may arise from your participation in a ride or event.
Not withstanding the above, this groups ride and event organisers reserve the right (at their absolute discretion) to ask any person to leave a ride or event for acting in an inappropriate manner or in a manner that may be considered offensive, dangerous or hazardous to other participants.
