This month’s book is The Plot by Jean Hanff Korelitz. “The Plot” is a novel about Jake Bonner, a failed writer who teaches at a third-rate MFA program. One of his students tells him about a book he is working on with a great plot, but he dies without writing his book. Jakes uses the plot for what turns out to be a phenomenally successful bestseller, but someone knows what he did and is vowing to out his literary transgression to the world.
