Fisheating Creek Paddle-Up and Back-Work off that Turkey!

Details

Fun fact:
The name Fisheating Creek is derived from the Creek Thlothlopopka-hatchee meaning "the creek where fish are eaten." The first known settlement occurred along the banks of Fisheating Creek between 1000 and 500 BC.

We will put in at the Fisheating Creek Outpost.
Parking at the outpost is $4.00 per PERSON.
We are going to paddle upriver from Fisheating Creek. We will paddle up as far as we want, lunch along the river, and then float back.

There are a lot of alligators on this river.

No paddleboards.

You may check camping availability at https://fisheatingcreekoutpost.com/

If you would like to stay in Sebring, just under 1 hour away, there is room for about 4 in the house or you may set a tent up in Karen's yard. You may arrive Friday afternoon if you wish to camp and you may stay through Sunday early afternoon.

Please contact me, Amy, for information regarding staying at Karen's in Sebring.
