Springfield Holiday Pub Crawl

We’ve had so much fun doing this the last couple years.
It will be a Saturday evening walk, taking time to patronize a few of the finer downtown establishments along our route. We will start at the parking lot west of Boone's at 301 W Edwards. Like our other city walks, we'll do a nice 2-3 mile route that winds through the Springfield downtown area to take advantage of the street lights and enjoy the holiday decorations. I plan to split our walk up into 2-3 segments. We'll walk for a mile or so, the just when the chill starts to seep into our hands and feet, we'll dart into a local pub to warm up and enjoy a beverage. Then we'll head back out for another mile or so, then find another warm venue to thaw out and socialize. Our last leg will take us to our dinner location, Boone's, and I'll have some tables awaiting us so we can eat, drink and be merry.
For those of you who know me, if you show up around 4:30, there will be some free beverages available for you to start the night off right. :)

I've picked some fun local spots and a I have a route mapped out...but I'm not going to share the details of the first 2 pub stops. You'll just need to show up and be prepared to have fun. I calculate that if we start at 5:00pm we'll have time for a couple of stops and be rolling into the dinner location about 7-7:30pm.
We will pre order our food so it will be ready when we get back to Boones.

NOTE: This is a Pub-Crawl-type walk, which will visit pubs and end with a casual dinner at a local downtown establishment. If you RSVP for this event it is assumed you are doing the entire event, which includes the dinner. On this walk it is not an option to do the walk and skip dinner. If you do not want to eat with the group, please do not sign up for this walk.
