By requesting membership or taking part in group activities you hereby are agreeing to the rules and regulations of this Meetup. In addition, you acknowledge you are playing at your own risk. No members of the leadership team for this Meetup (organizers, hosts, or property owners) will be responsible for any injuries or mishaps which can occur while partaking in the games.

By Joining and/or RSVPing Yes to our events, you certify that you are playing at our own risk during the COVID-19 pandamic. In addition, you have no known medical or other conditions that could interfere with my participation in our activities. You also understand and accept that the practice of soccer, both indoor and outdoor, involves certain risks of physical injury. Therefore, you, individually, hereby release and discharge, the Organizers, Co-organizers, and Middlesex County from any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to any claims of negligence, arising out of, resulting from, by reason of, or in connection with my participation in any of this group's programs or activities. By joining the group and/or RSVP’ing YES to the event, you understand you may be exposed to risks include, but are not limited to, the dangers of serious personal injury, property damage, contracting COVID-19 and death (“Injuries and Damages”).

If we have less than 10 people signed up by Friday at noon, we'll cancel or reschedule the game for the following Saturday.

If the designated field is unavailable, we'll have to play on a backup field. If we are unable to find a backup field, there's a chance that we may not be able to play that day.

Just a few reminders/rules:

1. Cost of each game is $5. You pay at the game. MAKE SURE TO BRING 5 DOLLARS ON THE FIELD FOR THE GAME. Money is collected during before. This fee covers field rental, meetup fees, and other maintenance expenses.
2. Make sure you show up for the game if you RSVP'ed yes for the game. If you do not show up, you will be banned from registering for the next game and charged $10. Please make sure to update your RSVP by 10:00 p.m. the night before the game. There will be a $10 penalty for dropping after 10PM and before 12AM the night before the game.
3. Rough play and offensive language will absolutely not be tolerated. No slide tackling, no pushing and no telling off (remember we are here to have fun; we are not professionals).
4. Chaser Rule - if you kick the ball far, you are expected to get it back for the other team
5. Goalie Rule - If you are chosen by a goalie to play goalie, then you should to go. If you are hurt to the point where you can't play goalie, then you will be excused for the game but should it continue on, you will not be allowed to play with the group.

**NEW RULES**
1\. Any player who chooses to sub out\, will not be allowed to return to the game\.
2\. If a member leaves a game 15 minutes $or more$ before the end of the game\, that member will be placed on the waitlist for the next game\. So\, members are aware\, the game end time will be on the game page\.
3\. Fouls in the penalty box will no longer result in a corner kick\. A free kick will be given outside the box closest to the area the foul happened\.
4\. A penalty will be given ***if, and only if, the organizers*** deem a player is denied a clear cut goal scoring opportunity. The player fouled must be the one to take the penalty kick.

Those that don't comply with these rules, will kindly be asked to leave the group so others can enjoy the game.

We will provide pinnies, but please bring a white and dark t-shirt just in case.

ALSO

This is a friendly game that we play for fun. No slide tackling or other rough play. If you foul somebody you are expected to apologize.

We usually get enough people for a game.

OVERFLOW

The RSVP is limited to 24 to help control overcrowding. The only way to guarantee your spot is to RSVP *and* show up on time (you should be present at the roll call).

After roll call, if slots are available, they will be filled by people from the waiting list, that are at the game, in signup order. So people who signed up first on the waiting list will get the first available slot, etc.

We think it's pretty much common sense.

IMPORTANT: You should definitely bring a decent amount of water to stay hydrated and keep cramps away.

Cleats and shin guards are recommended, especially if it has rained the day of the game or the night before.

Feel free to bring extra balls or goalie gloves. We can never have too much.
