Little Bites of A.T. Hikes Part 23: Key Gap to Harpers Ferry(Day Hike, 10 miles)

We have already completed the 100 or so miles of the A.T. in Shenandoah National Park and are continuing both north and south but are just not up for overnight backpacking.
This is an out and back starting NOBO from Key Gap going to Harpers Ferry, and the pace will be closer to 2.5-3.0 mph as necessary (not a shuttle hike). Meeting at the trailhead does not work for this series. I will match the group’s pace to that of the slowest hiker. Take note that this is a slower pace than other hike series CVT does. 10 miles @ 2.5 mph ~4.0 hours of hike time.

Decided to not resume NOBO from Blackburn Center since the road up is in poor condition and do not want to hassle with a shuttle service.

GENERAL DETAILS
RSVPS close FRIDAY Oct 4th (day before) the event. This provides time for organizer to organize, settle things, and notify all of group plans. Organizer will send a DM Friday with the carpool location. Please check your Meetup Site settings so that you get emails from event organizers.
If you cannot sign up it most likely means that event is full, or you + number of guests exceeds max amount, or RSVPs are closed.
