What we’re about

Are you passionate about live music, concerts, and the performing arts? Whether you're a fan of indie bands, classical folk music, jazz, blues, or punk rock, or just supporting your local, thriving arts community, this is the group for you!

Welcome to Charleston WV Live Music, a group dedicated to connecting residents and visitors in the Charleston, WV area who share a love for live events and want to support the incredible arts scene here in Chucktown. If you're looking for new friends to attend concerts with or to share your favorite shows, festivals, and gatherings, come join us!

What to Expect

Our meetup is all about experiencing the best of Charleston’s live music, festivals, comedy, theater, and cultural events together as a community. We'll meet up for everything, including but not limited to big shows at FestivALL, waterfront extravaganzas down at Haddad Park, local city-run concerts over at Slack Plaza, and intimate café nights at Taylor Books. Whether it’s enjoying the legendary Mountain Stage sets at amazing venues, supporting more obscure and less-known classical folk artists hosted by FOOTMAD, or exploring some of the fine(er) arts at the Culture Center, this group is a chance to meet others who share your interests and want to be part of Charleston’s cultural scene.
