What we’re about
Welcome to the Charlottesville Social Worker Meetup Group!
Giving this a try to see if there is any interest from other social workers in the community to get together. I'm thinking of meetups for studying for licensing exams (LCSW and LMSW), supporting each other, talking social justice, advocating, networking, and just hanging out and meeting new people.
I am currently in mental health for adults at a community service board and previously was a social worker in an ICU and later in a clinic at UVA. I am still fairly new to the game and should be sitting for my licensing exam early next year.
So, join us and we can see where this takes us!
