What we’re about
The purpose of the group is to have fun while improving our skills at playing ukulele. The group is open to all skill levels and there should be something for everyone. Our playout sets are found on ukeeducation.org under lead sheets. We're currently meeting at Meadows Presbyterian Church on the 4th Thursday of each month.

See all- November CUUL JamMeadows Presbyterian Church, Charlottesville, VA
This month we're exploring "name" songs – specifically, those typically associated with the fairer sex. Our November CUUL jam session will take place Thursday, November 21st* with the theme of "Girls! Girls! Girls!," essentially a whole lot of songs about women and girls! A songbook with chords is available to download here. In case some of these ladies are unfamiliar to us, we'll also select songs from our old standby, the yellow "Daily Ukulele" songbook!
We meet at Meadows Presbyterian Church from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Park in the side parking lot and plan to enter through the double doors at the front of the church.
Our normal practice is to gather in a circle and take turns selecting songs for the group to play and sing together. There's no obligation to either choose or lead songs; other folks are happy to help where needed!
*One week earlier than usual 'cause of the Thanksgiving holiday.
**Please download or print a copy and bring it along with you, but don't stress if you don't get to it. We’re a friendly group, and folks are always willing to share music!
