Cooperative Game Day: Spirit Island

Collaboration is an incredibly important value for us empaths. Cooperative board games can be an excellent medium to practice empathy, communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Please consider joining us at our humble abode in Wheeling for our first ever cooperative game day.

"Spirit Island" will be the first game on the table, a game about fighting back oppressive, exploitative colonizers like England, France, and Spain as powerful spirits helping to defend the natural beauty and the indigenous peoples. Other cooperative options will be available and everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite cooperative games as well.

We do not play competitive games in this house, however. There is enough competition and meanness in the world now, so let's spend some time working together and supporting each other instead of tearing each other down. Making the world better can start with a value-focused gaming group.
