General Book Chat and Winter Celebration

Hi and hello! This meeting will be our first official General Book Chat. No assignment. No theme. No survivors! (Sorry, I'm still in Halloween mode.)

At some point we'll go around and give everyone a chance to share something they've been reading lately (or not lately). Whether you liked it, loved it, hated it, learned from it, or just think it will interest people, we want to hear about it. Limit one per customer, please. This not your personal podcast. ;-)

It's a perfect opportunity for newcomers to get to know the group without the pressure of reading a specific book beforehand. The rest of the time will be devoted to the other tenets of this book club: wine, being together, and having a nice time.

This will also double as our early holiday celebration! So if you want to test out any holiday recipes before presenting them to the disapproving scrutiny of your Great Aunt Bethesda, we are an excellent test audience.
