Join me for an hour-ish walk or run around Lady Bird Lake (aka: Town Lake). There is a 3 mile, 4 mile, and 5 mile loop - most can get you back to the starting point in an hour or less depending on if you run or walk. We start at "The Rock" at Lady Bird Lake. **It's a large square granite rock under the Mopac (Loop 1) highway, on Veteran's Drive/Stephen F. Austin Dr.** This is near the Austin High School tennis courts (Austin High address is 1715 W Cesar Chavez. and you can park FREE there or along the street) We meet at 8:00am and we'll follow the route along the lake trail. Easy peasy! Paces range from 8 to 20 minute miles depending if you are walking or sprinting. After the run we will gather back at the granite rock under Mopac and wait for everyone to finish and then head over for brunch at [Galaxy Cafe](https://www.galaxycafeaustin.com/menu/breakfast) nearby on 1000 W Lynn St. - always easy parking in lot or on street (free).

Brunch is optional for you, but I always enjoy the food and social time post exercise! Dogs are allowed outside at Galaxy, but most of us usually eat inside, but if you bring your dog, I will gladly join you outside!

**NOTE: This event is in conjunction with Austin Runners Meetup which I am a member of and is a co-ed group. Feel free to invite your male and female friends to this event. And dogs are always welcome, too!**
