Hey all! So Meetup has been steadily raising prices over the years, most recently for the last few years we had been paying $98 every 6 months in order to keep this Meetup alive. I just got a message from Meetup they are raising their prices starting next month to $179 every 6 months. To me, this is INSANE! I already felt like we were paying too much and they were not really adding much value to the features as they raise the prices.
So, we have decided to move the group to Facebook. We will still be creating events on there just like we did on Meetup. I am trying to spread the word on our Meetup page but if you know anyone who is interested please feel free to share.
