We meet at the cars from 9.50am and on foot outside Withnell Health Centre (PR6 8UA) at 9.55am, the walk starts at 10am. Park on Railway Road between North East Avenue and Withnell Health Centre, on that side of the road.
Walking above the old railway line to Abbey Village, around Roddlesworth Reservoirs, through the woods, to Tockholes Cafe where we take a 15-minute break outside. Past Earnsdale Reservoir, up through the golf club, back on the old railway line. Some far all-round views. Medium pace, slower uphill. Some ascents. 7-8miles. 15-minute drink/snack stop at Ryal Fold Information Centre where there are outside picnic tables and toilet. Back about 1.45pm.

DOGS - One dog per person ok if shown on your profile, and kept on a lead under control throughout the walk.

FEE TOWARDS MEETUP COST - £3 for any number of our events within 6 months. Please pay the Walks Leader in cash at the start of your second event - your first walk is free!
