Perelandra (Space Trilogy book 2/3)

This month we'll be discussing the second of Lewis's "Space Trilogy" books, called "Perelandra", an adventure on the planet Venus. It's quite a contrast to the previous book "Out of the Silent Planet" in many ways -- bring your thoughts & ideas to the discussion!

Because these are novels, we're not going to read aloud on the night, as we've done at past meetups. Instead, we hope most of you can read the book ahead of time. Homework! This is another great read, though, so I don't think that will be a chore. And if you haven't finished the book -- or haven't even started -- we'll let you come anyway. :-)

Franci and I will put on a nice spread of food and drink to go with the evening. If you are willing and able to contribute a small donation, we'll have a koha/donation jar (you can also transfer to our bank account 11-7116-0034925-00). Suggested donation $5, but no obligation if you're not in a position to or would just rather not.
