Canterbury Game Dev and Creative Tech Day

Details

Calling all creative tech and game development enthusiasts!
Come together for a day of celebration and promotion of the Game Development and Creative Technology industry, and communities of practice in Canterbury, featuring inspirational talks, panels, game showcases, exhibits, catering, and more!

How do the sessions work?
Each session will cover general elements of a discipline, what the discipline looks like in game development or creative tech, and why it is important for creating a successful product. The talks will be co-run by a mix of different communities of practice and game developers, and feature case studies of local games, creative tech projects, or works.

Why should I go?
The event is a great opportunity to:

  • Celebrate local success stories and connect with people in games and creative tech.
  • Identify prospective new members for your tech group or creative talent for your team.
  • Cross-pollinate ideas, skills, and knowledge with different creative tech disciplines.
  • Showcase, playtest, or learn about some locally made games and creative tech.
  • Support and build up the Canterbury game dev and creative tech community.
  • Be inspired and motivated by all the cool stuff that's being done in Canterbury!
  • Understand how to get involved in or join one of Canterbury's most exciting industries.
