What we’re about
We're a gathering of gamers looking to meet new people, make friends, and play a variety of systems and types of games: role-playing, board, card, miniature, whatever. We believe in getting games off your shelf and onto the table. Our unofficial motto is, "Sure, we'll play that!"
We welcome new players and new GMs to the Cincinnati area. We also function to meet other gaming-type peoples, socialize with them, and integrate all the different gaming communities within the tri-state area. We encourage all people to play and run games, especially women, LGBTQIA people, and people of color. We also exist to help players find games and help GMs find players.

See all- Raccoon Sky Pirates RPG - Raccoons Save Christmas One-ShotMatts Card Shop, Blue Ash, OH
It's Christmas Eve, and Santa has crashed in the junkyard. The sleigh is totaled, the gifts are crushed, and magical reindeer are running around everywhere. Santa is unconscious - you’ve put him up in the old Ford Country Squire station wagon to recover. In the meantime, someone has to save Christmas!
However, you are a raccoon: a chittering, baggy-pants, ring-tailed burglar. A filthy bandit. A chaos gremlin. You and your friends have built an implausible floating ship in the junkyard, and tonight you'll fly it across town to the suburbs to save Christmas. Flying a ship takes coordination and discipline. Unfortunately, you’re a bunch of raccoons.
Together, you'll navigate the treacherous neighborhoods, find a ripe, free-standing house with cable internet, leave a "gift" for each of the residents (without waking them up), and fend off the Neighborhood Watch - all while trying not to explode!
In this game, you and your friends play raccoons. You live in the junkyard, which is full of wonderful trash. Yet you are discontent—for you know even better trash is out there. So you invented an implausible floating ship out of parts from the junkyard, then hatched a risky scheme to fly through suburbia by night in search of treasure. This game is meant to be light in tone, with slapstick violence escalating to madcap antics. The X-Card will be used. http://tinyurl.com/x-card-rpg

- AD&D (variant) - The Giant’s Ring One-ShotHero's Hearth, Cincinnati, OH
There are many theories about who built the circle of stones. One legend claims it was built by Merlin the Wizard, others say the giants built it; others say fairies, druids, or ancient aliens.
You have come a long way with your group of travelers to see this site for yourself. The weather isn’t good; thick fog, cold, and icy drizzle. The fog makes it very difficult to see. Something in the center of the stone circle seems to shine...
The rules are mostly Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1e, with elements from the Greyhawk setting (circa 1975), Chivalry & Sorcery, and Chaosium game systems.
Pregenerated characters provided.
