There are many theories about who built the circle of stones. One legend claims it was built by Merlin the Wizard, others say the giants built it; others say fairies, druids, or ancient aliens.

You have come a long way with your group of travelers to see this site for yourself. The weather isn’t good; thick fog, cold, and icy drizzle. The fog makes it very difficult to see. Something in the center of the stone circle seems to shine...

The rules are mostly Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1e, with elements from the Greyhawk setting (circa 1975), Chivalry & Sorcery, and Chaosium game systems.
