This week’s lineup offers a stunning variety of styles, from crisp and elegant whites to bold, complex reds, each with a unique story to tell. Whether you’re looking for a wine with zesty citrus notes, velvety dark fruit, or something sparkling and joyful to toast the occasion, we’ve got you covered. Stop by to sip, shop, and savor the season while supporting local business!
Lismore Estate Vineyards Greyton Sauvignon Blanc Western Cape South Africa 2021 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Pale. Aromas of citrus, gardenia, vanilla, char, toast, followed by citrus lemon-lime, light hint of gooseberry. The complexity continues to the palate with flavors of Asian pear, guava, fresh sea spray, balanced with a grassy, white asparagus, and ginger-tinge. Mouth feel is slightly oxidative due to barrel aging. Obviously a different approach. This is a dry wine with medium-plus acidity, creamy texture, full body, and a long smoky, fruit cup finish.
Finca Sobreno Seleccion Especial Toro Spain 2021 100% Tempranillo. Big yet elegant nose, refined and stylish with ripe berry fruit, spicy complexity of clove, sandalwood, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate muscular yet smooth taste of blackberry jam and chocolate truffle with a rich finish.
Precision Wine Co Octopoda Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Napa Valley California 2021 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, bramble, plum, cassis, dirt, black currants, thyme, and herbs. Continuing to the palate, black cherry, dried herbs, Carmel, cooked cherry, cooked blackberry, dried cranberry, toast, spice, and vanilla. Beautiful polished, pleasant plush juice with a memorable finish.
Rinaldi Joyful Piedmont Italy NV 85% Barbera, 10% Cortese, and 5% Moscato. Pale in color. Slightly off-dry, hints of pears, apple, and vanilla. Creamy mouth feel, light orchard fruit flavors. A great alternative to Prosecco and Champagne.
