The National Christmas Tree is displayed every year on The Ellipse at the White House and President’s Park. The DAR Museum, located in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) Headquarters, and close to the President’s Park, collects, preserves, and interprets objects used and created in American homes, using the lens of the varied interpretations of home; you’re welcome to bring friends and family 😊 The following groups, which I also organize, will accompany us:

**Scenic walk**: After the museum visit, you are all invited to join our scenic walk in the President’s Park to visit the National Tree.
**Happy Hour**: Our scenic walk will take us to our happy hour @ Grill Kabob, which should add our steps up to 1 mile, and they have vegan options: I called the restaurant, spoke to the manager, and they can make a vegan falafel dish for you. **We’re different from other groups**: We don’t need an exact headcount. RSVP once, then you don’t need to update your RSVP anymore, even if you’re not sure whether you can attend.

**FAQ 1**: What if I don’t know anyone else in the group? Answer: you are super-welcome, our group is very receptive, and many of our members did not know anyone else when they first joined.
**FAQ 2**: Do I have to be a vegetarian to belong to this group? Answer: we hold happy hours at places which offer vegan options; however, order whatever you want: you don’t have to be a vegetarian or a vegan in order to be our friend.
