What we’re about
We are a group of singles who meet regularly, sometimes for dinner, or meet another time of day. Some occasionally go to dances, attend events such as local festivals, or enjoy live music/shows. We like playing board games or cards, go on local trips; we appreciate art exhibits and share many other enjoyable activities. We appreciate suggestions for future events or a dining place. These Meetup’s are announced ahead of time online on our Citywide Home page and each member will receive an email “invitation” to RSVP to if planning to attend.
Our members are 55+ yand we welcome those who have a positive attitude and are young at heart! We are NOT a dating service, but singles who enjoy getting together socially for fun and friendship! Our Meetups are centered in the Springfield, Mo. area. It’s preferable that members reside in this general region. To join, one must apply by filling out and submitting an online form that we require of prospective members in order to be approved and admitted. A current photo and actual name on their profile is also required. Our dues are $5.00 annually. This must be paid as soon as possible to an Organizer after you are approved.

CityWide Singles' mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of area singles by promoting social gatherings in a safe environment that encourages a sense of community. Our group strives to find venues that allow individuals to participate in new activities and foster friendships with others who share similar interests. We find success by witnessing the personal growth experienced by our members, by the long-lasting friendships we form, by the joy added to our lives through the caring and acceptance of others, and by the memories we share.
