Classic Car Christmas Run Out and Meal

Hi everyone. This is our plan for the Christmas Drive-out. Please RSVP if you'd like to come along.

Meet at The Motorist, at Sherburn in Elmet, New Lennerton Ln, Leeds LS25 6JE. (Please feel free to come along in a modern car, in case of inclement conditions and your classic car being tucked away for winter.)

Meet at The Motorist anytime from 9 am to 11am. For coffees/teas and a light breakfast if required. At 11 am, we'll set off on a scenic route (of about 40 miles) to:

The Carlton Inn, Main Street Carlton Hustwaite, Thirsk YO7 2BW. For lunch at 1:30 pm.

If you don't wish to meet at The Motorist / do the drive out, feel free to meet us directly at The Carlton Inn.

Please RSVP if you'd like to come along - and especially if you'd like food at The Carlton Inn. They are asking that we pre- book. Please message me with your order.

Roasted parsnip soup served with garlic herb croutons, crusty
ciabatta and butter

Classic Greenland prawns in a Marie sauce, crevette, baby gem
lettuce, brown bread and butter

Farmhouse terrine served with chutney, dressed leaves and toast

Chestnut mushroom and blue cheese tartlet with truffle oil
mayonnaise and plum chutney

Mains

Roast turkey breast, apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast
potatoes, sprouts and homemade gravy

Oven baked salmon fillet, served with parsley mash and lemon
velouté

Rich beef Bourguignon served with horseradish herb dumplings
