Jazz for the Holidays
Jerry Durrwachter {314-330-3860 [talk/text]} will be your event host, so look for him in the lobby near the auditorium's first-floor (lower level) entrance before the doors open at 2:30 or in the auditorium after 2:30.

Always scheduled for the 1st =OR= 2nd Sunday in December, Jazz for the Holidays is one of the most-anticipated concerts of the holiday season! It features University Orchestra, UMSL Alumni Jazz Orchestra, Voices of Jubilation, Arianna String Quartet, and Vocal Point.

Holiday classics performed with a jazzy flair will likely include “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” “Jingle Bells,” and selections from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and other Classic TV Specials. With special guest artists and spectacular stage lighting, this holiday concert is not to be missed, worthwhile if only for Dr. Jim Henry's rendition of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."
