What we’re about
A Ladies Club for mature women over the age of 45 (yrs young) seeking to socialize and make friends with other women. This is a private group that will keep membership low to facilitate relationships amongst members. At this time there is a delay in accepting new members due to the size of the group and waitlists for events. We ask that members try and be active at least once over a 3 month time period by coming to an event. In 2025, we are asking all established members to host one event per year. Organizers will assist in posting the event.
Our Events are currently in the Raleigh area (Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Garner, Clayton, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Wake Forest, SE Durham, etc) and we alternate locations. Let's get together for fun events, meet new people, and cultivate genuine lifetime friendships. Why this group was previously named "Classy" Ladies is because we treat each other with kindness and respect. The "Or Not" got added because we can also be loud, silly and raunchy. We want to be ourselves and have fun!

In Protecting your privacy:
1. This group is Private (meaning that you must request membership).
2. Please have a recent photo of yourself and your first name on your profile so that we may recognize you and greet you. Without name and photo you will not be accepted into the group.
Club Rules:
1. Be Kind. No Drama. Mean behavior including gossiping, or shunning other members is not tolerated.
2. Be active within the group. Membership requires that you attend at least one event within a 3 month time period and host one event per year once you have attended two events.
3. Please Keep your RSVP's, or cancel prior to 24 hours. Must text/ communicate with Organizer when cancelling within 24 hours. No Shows or 'Day of' cancellations will lead to membership removal. Too many cancellations of RSVP's will also lead to removal. You must ACTIVELY MANAGE your RSVP's! If you are on a wait list, you often will get in, so you must keep track of it or remove yourself from the wait list.
4. Please ask member(s) for permission before taking a photo with them in it. Do not tag members in photos. Let them tag themselves.
5. Check your messages; answer questions in the discussion board, and communicate.
6. Do not post external links for voting, fundraising, donations, etc. If you own a small business, we will support you if you ask.
Membership
After you "Join" our group and fill out the questions, you will be alerted by Meetup when your membership is Approved. We are inclusive to all ladies over 45. When you are Approved, PLEASE check out our group and RSVP to an event or answer questions on the discussion board.
You will have 30 days after joining to try out the group before the annual membership dues of $7.00 are due. Membership dues cover the cost that Meetup charges to host the group.
