A leisurely walk from Great Ayton across the fields.

A leisurely Sunday afternoon walk of about 5 miles from Low Green, Great Ayton across the fields with no steep climbs. There are 8 stiles to go over and some horses on route so this walk is not suitable for dogs. We expect to be back at the start point by 16.15, hopefully before dark but bring a torch just in case of any delay or dull weather.

'From Low Green we follow footpaths alongside fields to Easby where we turn and follow the bridleway back to Great Ayton via Fletchers farm. There were horses in two fields when checking the route. All seemed placid and didn’t trouble us. Good views on a fine day.'

Please check the weather forecast and wear/carry appropriate clothing. This walk may be muddy in places so waterproof, sturdy footwear is recommended.

There will be a short 10 minute break so please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.
