September Climate Crisis Book Club - Parable of the Sower (Graphic Novel)

This month, we're reading the graphic novel adaptation of Octavia Butler's classic fiction book Parable of the Sower: A Graphic Novel Adaptation.

You can find the book on Bookshop (support local bookstores!), Amazon, BetterWorldBooks (used to save some trees), or your local library/independent bookstore. Be sure to get the graphic novel version by Damian Duffy, Octavia Butler and John Jennings -- not the prose novel (though please share your thoughts on the original book if you've read it).

FYI/TW: there are pretty graphic depictions of violence, mentions of sexual violence, depictions of sex etc. Just don't want folks to be caught off guard or be in the wrong headspace. It's a heavy book, but one well worth reading.
