This is a lovely "chill day" out and we have done a couple of times over the years and a fab way to spend a Sunday with friends.

We leave Northamptonshire around 8.30 a.m. - stop at London Gate about 9.30 a.m. for coffee (*and breakfast if you want to eat*) then make our way to Trafalgar Square to the National Gallery for around 11.30 a.m. Some spectacular and famous works of art to be seen.

Weather permitting we will then get picked up and taken over to Hyde Park where we can have a lazy walk around then enjoy a picnic with a glass of Prosecco (or similar.) Prep your own picnic. If weather not so good then we can stop en route home for something to eat.

(*Last time we were joined in the park by a very people friendly squirrel who stayed with us and very much enjoyed Gail's crisps!!!... absolute delight.*)

Lovely easy day out, in good company.

***We do ideally need to travel together for this one, but not essential if you prefer to make your own way to the Gallery then to Hyde Park then back home***

We have set attendee limit to 8 for the time being but can adjust if necessary depending on how folk wish to travel and meet up.
