What This Dance Meetup Group is about :
We are a Dancer Friendly Group (see our reviews), for all ages, and all styles of Dance. Providing information on classes, dances, & events in the Central New York area. You can Receive Email Notifications & Reminders. Join or start a discussion on the Discussions Board. See our Photo Section - view or add photos of the Meetup Dance you attended. Not only is this site a great way for members to meet new people, make new friends, or possibly find a dance partner, it is also a wonderful promotional/marketing tool for Instructors/Dj's. And it is all free! (This is not a dating site).

When requesting to be a CNY Dance Meetup member, use your full name, otherwise you will not be approved.

Helping Out:
It would be great if people could step up to add their own events to the calendar and keep them up to date.
These events should include a tag in the title to indicate which area the dance is in, Ex: [Syr] or [Utica] or [Ithica]
They should have a link to the organizer's official page (whether that's a Facebook page or a hosted website) so people can verify the events are still going on.
