At Christmas time, the Boozy Bard takes on a different aspect. Less betrayal, fewer sword fights, almost no grisly deaths. But a whole lot of ghosts! It's Dickens' heartwarming classic about a rich man who needs to be terrified into sharing: A Christmas Carol.

I may be the host but I won't be able to hang out with you because I'll be busy traipsing around the stage in funny costumes. I'll pop over at intermission to hear praise and drink your beer.

I'm also playing in the same show at the same place on Saturday at 7pm if you want to catch me then.

For those who've never been to a Shakespeare RAW show before, the actors don't know who they're going to play until they pick a name from a hat. Then they have 10 minutes to prepare (i.e. panic) before the show goes on. It's mildly chaotic, but always a blast.

Admission is free, though we are collecting money for charity if you, unlike Scrooge, are feeling motivated to donate. Doors open at 3, play begins at 3:30, probably. Outside food is allowed, cheap drinks available at the bar. Come be cultured!
