Coastwalk California is proud to host the 40th annual Coastal Cleanup Day in Sonoma County! Be part of this statewide effort to keep our coastline clean and beautiful. As a volunteer, you'll also get to be a citizen scientist by filling out a data card with the types of trash you collect. This valuable information helps influence state legislation, like the recent ban on smoking in state parks and beaches (SB8, 2019).
To sign up or learn more, please visit our website at COASTWALK.ORG/CCD. We'll provide all the necessary cleanup supplies, including buckets, bags and gloves. Just bring your reusable water bottles (we'll have water for refills), windbreakers, and close-toed shoes.
