Color Me Calm Fall Leaves

Looking for things to do in Jupiter, Florida? Join our *Color Me Calm* group on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, with the option to attend in person or join us from the comfort of your home via Zoom.

Once a week, step away from the stress of everyday life and find refuge in our tranquil adult coloring circle. Our sessions offer a unique blend of relaxation and creativity over 1.5 hours, starting with a 15 minute how to session followed by gentle, engaging conversations that foster connection and ease. As the session progresses, we seamlessly transition into a quiet and serene atmosphere, accompanied by soothing relaxation music, a glass of wine, and light bites. This shift invites participants to focus solely on their coloring, allowing the mind to quiet and stress to dissolve.

Can’t make it in person? Choose our Zoom option and join us virtually, experiencing the same sense of calm and creativity from wherever you are.
This Wednesday November 20, 2024 we will focus on coloring techniques as we work on our easy fall leaves drawing. Take what you've learned in this workshop to create a fall leaves boarder, drawing of garland, for just about anything.

Coloring Techniques with Colored Pencils

Adult coloring transcends mere artistic expression; it's a therapeutic escape that fosters mindfulness, alleviates anxiety, and promotes overall well-being. Designed to create a peaceful sanctuary, our gatherings encourage you to unwind, destress, and tap into a sense of calm. Through the harmonious blend of color, sound, and a touch of indulgence, our circle aims to rejuvenate the spirit and refresh the mind, offering a peaceful retreat from the demands of daily life.

Materials and Supplies: Supplies are available for an additional $10 for in-person meetings, or feel free to bring your own. For this workshop we will be using the following supplies:

- Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper
- Micron Pen
- Faber-Castle Watercolor Pencils (We are using the smaller set of 12)
- Number 5 Round Watercolor Brush
- Cup of clean water

Optional Materials: Want to jump right into the coloring without drawing? Click to order coloring cards. We will also be demonstration the new Lisilinka metallic watercolors. If you would like to paint along, we are using the metallic color Sunset.
