Hello I'm Stephen and I would like to invite you to join me in the Colorado Boomerang Tribe! Boomerangs have been around for over 10,000 years and both returning and non-returning boomerangs were found in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun (1336–1326 BCE). Throwing sticks for hunting and recreation are in the bedrock of modern humankind.
I have been throwing the boomerang for over 15 years now and eventually began to compete, most recently at the Boomerang World Cup here in Westminster Colorado in July of 2024. My goal is to get a boomerang in your hands and give you the knowledge to make it return! Boomerangs get you outdoors and tuning into the environment around you...especially the wind! When practiced regularly you will find it to be a fulfilling and meditative experience. Be warned that it can be addictive.
This tribe is open to all and is for recreation and education.
