What we’re about
Welcome to Colorado Quad Runners (CQR) Established in 2001, this group of trail riding enthusiasts has a diversity of common interests in exploring and enjoying the back trails of this beautiful state and beyond. Come ride with us! We are excited you have found us and hope you become interested in joining our club.
We are a federally registered 501 (c) (7) social club with an official roster of dues paying members. Current annual memberships are paid through meetup, and the cost is $15.00 per person. You must be a member to join in club events. Your membership includes an initial 30 day free trial
CQR events can be a single day of riding, a weekend trip, or a week long campout. We are a pet friendly group as well. We believe in riding safely with others. Our ride leaders are familiar with the geography and use maps & GPS devices. We are always looking for new places to go and explore. New members often bring that knowledge and experience to the club. Members use a variety of machines, such as utility or sport quads and 2 or 4 passenger side-by-sides. We require everyone to wear a DOT approved helmet.
We work with the BLM and US Forest Service on trail projects. We partner with Stay-The-Trail, and COHVCO to support our riding community. There is a wealth of trail knowledge in this club and an opportunity to learn more from new members.
During a typical weekend or weeklong trip, we plan our daily rides in advance, and try to offer riders a choice of rides based on their skill level and riding preferences.
Please spend some time browsing our event calendar to see if CQR is a good fit for you and your family. We have a 20-year history of exploring the backcountry of Colorado and other Western States. Come ride with us and share our love of the great outdoors!
