What we’re about
This is a group for anyone who is interested in making local friends in Columbia City! When I created this group, I was new to the neighborhood and I am introverted and rather reserved in nature, thus the name. The objective of most of the members who join us is to meet people who are interested in deeply intellectual chats about books, literature, sustainability, the meeting of cultures, among many other things.
The group is meant to be self-sustaining and has no membership or attendance requirements. Often the co-organizers will be there welcoming new and existing members while I am away (which is often). The group is meant to be an intimate setting where introverts and neurodivergent people can create meaningful connections, thus the limited RSVP and flexible structure.
After two years, some beautiful and truly wonderful friendships have blossomed from this project of love and hope. I hope you join us.
